Beta Terms Notice

        Beta status: Palim is available as a public Beta. These notes describe the operating boundaries for the beta website and desktop build; they are not a final paid-license agreement, EULA, or legal advice.
      

Please read these beta terms notes before using Palim preview materials, website pages, or any future beta desktop build distributed by NyxEvo. A final production Terms of Service and EULA will be published before paid distribution or general availability.

1. Beta Access

Palim Core is free during the public Beta. Download access may be limited, paused, or changed while we verify desktop packaging, automatic updates, support load, and release safety.

2. License Direction

Palim is being designed as local-first desktop software for professional writing. The intended license direction is to preserve access to local manuscript workspaces and avoid server lock-in for core editing workflows. Final paid-license terms, refund rules, upgrade rights, and jurisdiction language still require formal review before production launch.

3. Ownership of Content

NyxEvo does not claim ownership of manuscripts, drafts, source materials, style sheets, outline files, or custom dictionaries you create or load into Palim. You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to materials you import, generate, or publish.

4. Acceptable Use of AI Features

Palim provides optional hooks for AI-assisted writing workflows. If you use these capabilities in a beta build:

You are responsible for the provider accounts, keys, or local services you connect.
You must comply with the terms of any third-party AI provider you choose to use.
AI output should be treated as proposed material that requires author review before use.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Beta materials and preview builds are provided for evaluation and may contain defects. Do not rely on beta software as the only copy of important writing. Maintain independent backups of your projects.

6. Service Boundaries

No public checkout, paid subscription, or production license service is active from this site today. Future pricing, upgrade, support, and service terms will be published before any paid launch.
